  18. NEED SERIOUS HELP...

  20. We have an alphaserver 2100 running vms6.2-1h3 with ckermit-5a(190).
  21. Cuurently we use dec scholar 2400 talking to mv3100 running vms
  22. 5.3-5.5-2 with scholars or usrobotics (sportsters 33.6 faxmodems). we
  23. have written scripts to download data to our 33 stores and upload data
  24. from our stores in the afternoon.

  26. this environment works...take the dec scholar out of the picture and
  27. place a usrobotics in and change the fixed baud rate from 2400 to 19200
  28. and the scripts breakdown. It connects and shows the user prompt, before
  29. the script is ready and the script never gets to log in ??? i have
  30. turned off modem error correction and data compression at both ends.

  32. anybody have a clue ??? this is crazy...two modems with fixed rates ??
  33. it is acting like a handshake occured and some characters got to vms
  34. login section and shouldn't have ???
